Noonday

 What is “Noonday?”

“Noonday” is part of Broomlands Baptist Church and has been set up for the purpose of initiating projects which meet practical needs in the community. It aims to provide the opportunity for people to come together and share common interests in a safe, non-threatening environment, and to help people who are vulnerable or in need of support. The church initiated “Noonday” ministries in obedience to Isaiah 58:10,

“If you spend yourself on behalf of the hungry,

and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,

then your light will rise in the darkness,

and your night will become like the noonday.”

 How is it financed?

The finances of Noonday are completely separate from the finances of the church. Its work has been made possible by grants, donations from local groups, and individual supporters who give on a monthly basis.

K.C’s (Kid’s Club) (Sundays 6-7pm) is for children aged 5 - 10, and is a fun packed hour of games, stories, songs and competitions. We aim to give religious and moral education in an exciting, upbeat way.

99% of kids attending K.C’s are from the community from families with no church connections.
